Believing and Belonging go together; like two sides of the same coin. At Franklin Community Church (FCC), our vision is to enable people to experience authentic relationships with God and each other. Thus, our desire is for you, and your family, to get connected to the full life of our church.
How do I get connected to the life of FCC?
By getting involved in consecration, celebration, C.L.A.S.S.es, curriculum, community, and service.
At FCC, we believe the vitality of our church begins in the heart. Thus, you will be encouraged and equipped to participate in individual worship by establishing a regular, personal, quiet time.
Worshiping God on a regular basis throughout the week, in your individual quiet time, will enhance our corporate worship together like nothing else.
Our weekly Celebration Gatherings are a chance to worship God by participating in communion, music, the arts, readings, prayer, testimonies, and the spoken word.
A nursery is provided for our youngest members (birth through age 4); and after a time of worship together, our members (Kindergarten through Fourth grades) are dismissed for an age appropriate lesson.
C.L.A.S.S. stands for "Christian Life And Service Seminars"; and is a series of "4" short-term classes, offered on a regular basis, that everyone at FCC is encouraged to take. The four classes are:
C.L.A.S.S. 101 - Discovering Church Membership (required for church membership).
C.L.A.S.S. 201 - Discovering Spiritual Maturity.
C.L.A.S.S. 301 - Discovering My Ministry.
C.L.A.S.S. 401 - Discovering My Life Mission.
A Curriculum Group is a group of people who get together to study a particular subject. The subject could be a book of the Bible, or a book dealing with Christian life issues. A Curriculum Group could meet in someone's home, or at a restaurant, or some other place. Curriculum Groups are meant to bring people together, build fellowship, and create discipleship opportunities. Curriculum Groups will vary in size and length of study.
"Community" is the cornerstone on which FCC is built. "Community" means doing life together.
Community Groups are made up of 3 to 5 families that get together in homes on a regular basis (weekly or bi-weekly) to share life, study God's Word, pray, minister to others, and serve the community. Community Groups are encouraged to allow children to participate in the group with them.
Each Community Group has a host home and a leader; and will include the elements of prayer, singing, Scripture reading, study, service projects, missionary support, and outreach.
Jesus saved you to serve, not sit. At FCC we believe every member is a minister and every saint is a servant. God has S.H.A.P.E.D. each us to do something for Him.
A Servant Group refers to the area in which a person ministers. A person's Servant Group could be Children's Ministry, Hospitality, Video / Sound, Missions, or a number of other things.

The vision of FCC is to enable Middle Tennesseans to experience authentic relationships with God and each other. The Bible calls this being part of the body of Christ.
Our desire is to connect people to God and each other by ministering to the entire person.
The result of ministering to the whole person is a fully committed follower of Jesus Christ, making a difference in their world. Such a person will experience authentic relationships with God and others.
Franklin Community Church exists to enable Middle Tennesseans to experience authentic relationships with God and each other by building an Acts 2, biblical community.
Acts 2:42-47 - "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
